I just bought a dune buggy in Missouri. It does not have a title. I want to get it street legal. Ideas?

I was told not to take it to troop C because they are strict. I was also told that I could use a VW title, but if I "obtain" one, will there be casting numbers on the engine or tranny that will be unmatched and or traceble? Getting a safety inspection is really not a problem for me, but if I ever get pulled over, I want to make sure that I am legit.

Trade it in for a real car.

If it is totally made from scratch> Apply for a title> If it's on a VW frame you need a title from the donor car>
