I just bought a house. There is new dark brown granite floors and I'm wondering what color of cabinets to ad.

Since the floors are dark, I would consider cabinets in a lighter tone.  When you go out looking at cabinets, ask if you can borrow some samples to take home and look at in your home lighting to see how the samples go with the floor.
