  1. I can't help you with much other than to say that a breathing fish is not dead.

  2. hmmm where did you put your koi?  is there a filter or aerator?

Possibilities poor water condition,  low oxygen,  or the koi lacks conditioning.

  3. it's not dead yet it will be soon

  4. That is perhaps the most contradictory question I've ever read.  It's still "breathing", but you want to know if it's dead?

  5. koi are not supposed to be in tanks

    they are pond fish

of coarse its not dead if its breathing

  6. Might not be good, is he floating on one side, brething to fast or slow? thats not good if it is. did you change the water temp to fast, is the water to hot or to cold, (it needs to be what hes used to) or did  you not use water treatment before u added the fish? might have just got a sick fish from the dealer. hope he gets better

  7. well hun...even if it doesnt die now it more thn likely will because Koi get WAY too big to be kept in any tank unlessit VERY VERY big...they are pond fish & it will not do well in a tank

  8. Don't Be surprise if it ends up dead.
