I just bought a memory card for my blackberry pearl how do i put music on it?

i put it in the ohone and it says there are errors with the card

it says to fix it with a disk correction disk in the compter but idk what that means

You need to format the card in the blackberry before using it.

Go to Options > Media Card and then format card.

Once Blackberry has formatted the card with its own folder structure, you can use it.

you just need to format it the card should have came with a large card once you slide it into the card slide the larger card into a card reader. Then on removable media in my comper right click and flick on format after this is done just slide the mini card back into the phone and your phone should recongnize it. You will and can access the phone memory by using phone settings and tools. You usually dont have to format but it sounds like one of the sectors on the card is corrupt. If a format doesn;t work return the card. Or have your phone vendor use the disk repair you seek. they can usually do it in the tech center in about 15 minutes.

You can also go into system tools found in accessories and run a scan disk on the removable media.
