I just bought a new Nitro board. Are they any good? I know I have to hot wax it, but do I HAVE to tune it up??

  1. yeah nitro is a pretty good brand. they make good quality boards that can take quite a beating. uh yeah definately hot wax and you sohuld probably detune the ends, but if your edges are fairly sharp and you are ridin in powder you can wait to do that for a couple of trips up.


  2. Nitro boards are very good. I've had their lowest end women's board for 3 seasons and it is still a good board. The same guys who started the company still own it, so they haven't sold out to some big conglomerate.

    You should get it tuned, and have the ends detuned, and also hot waxed. Then you'll be good to go.
