I just bought a paintball marker and the barrel plug won't fit in the barrel?

Question

It's a Tr-l Spyder with a yellow barrel plug and it just won't like go in the barrel. It goes in only like 2 centimeters. What do I do? 10 points to first helpful answer.

I would suggest that you dont use a barrel plug but something more universal. i use a bag sort of thing that slides over the barrel and tightens at the end. there is that idea but it could just be that you a different sized plug. the thing i use may be hard to find. i have a tippmann triumph ext and the barrel is a odd sort of straight shape a nd a plug wouldnt be practical for a gun like mine.

take off the first rubber ring on the barrel plug. I had the same barrel plug and I had the same problem but I just kept pushing it in (taking like 5 min.) Then, the O-ring fell off.
