I just bought a ps2 and I can't connect online?

I have broadband (modem) and Everything is connected properly but when I try to do the connection test during setup it takes more than 30 minutes to attemp to connect and it never goes through.

  1. I'm pretty sure your not supposed to go on line with a ps2. I only know of going on line with nintendo ds and xbox 360


  2. its best just to not do it because my friend said about no one is on.
