I got it off ebay. I don't know what size records it plays...12" 6" 7" 45" ect. But I also just bought a whole bunch of 7in records that are rare, and spent $100s on them...will I be able to play the 7" vinyl records that I just got? Even if it is another size?

  1. IDK but good for you...hope you have fun

  2. I have never heard of  some of those sizes. I know about the 45' 78' and 33'  I hope you enjoy them, You got a treasure. To bad  I can't borrow it. (smile)

  3. Most record players can play LPs and 7"s, some can even play the more unusual sizes. Look for a little switch that changes the speed of the rotation.

  4. 12" records play at 33 1/3 rpm

7" records play at 45 rpm

and the old thick 12" wax / vinyl (heavy) records play at 78 rpm

As long as you have those speed settings and a good needle, you should be set.

    Enjoy!

  5. You said it plays 7 inch records and you bought 7 inch records so yes I guess it will the only thing it wont play is I guess 78's
