I just bought a used nordic trak skier and am feeling quite clumsy on it?

any suggestions? i cant get my arms and legs to coordinate right. maybe i need to have some wine first?

  1. Start off on the easiest setting and make sure the machine is adjusted correctly for your height.  Normal X-country poles when placed at your side should be no taller than your arm pit and no shorter than your elbow.  As the left leg moves forward the right arm should be pushing the opposite direction.  It is a very difficult sport to master but like any new task the more you do it the easier it becomes.
