I just bought a vinyl pool at a garage sale and it did not come with instructions.?

Am I supposed to leave the solar cover on the pool all day when not in use??? should i put it on at night?? help! It's a 16'x42"

Bob you will not need the solar cover, in summer unless you live way up north, next to Canada.  It will be  nice in early spring to help warm water.  Enjoy your pool.

The cover goes on at night to hold in the heat of the day so in the morning it's nice and warm
