I just bought an Acer Aspire M5620 desktop, running Vista Home Premium, and want to add an older hard drive, DVD writer and a floppy drive (models WD800LB 80 G, Sony DRU-720A and Samsung DFD-321B respectively). All these use wider ribbon connector and different power connectors than I can find inside or on the motherboard, and there seems to be differences with harware fit as well. Am I out of luck with their (in)compatibility?
