I just bought an Averatec

Question

I just bought an Averatec laptop battery MFG Part SA23-050170-00, but no instructions came with it and it is Sat and they don't answer til Monday...sob. Do I need to charge it up? and for HOW LONG? I want to preserve it as much as possible. But need my computer...so don't want to charge it longer than I need to.THANK YOU.I hope to hear from you ASAPJackie [e-mail]
