  1. well yes and no, if you want to have digitial cable then you'll have to call them and arrange to get it. However if you're happy with your current channels (even though many may not be in HD) your tv should work just fine.


  2. Yes, you need to get an HDTV set-top and if needed initiate HDTV programming.
