This is not the door. It's the side. From what point to what point do I measure. How do I get the glass in there?

  1. Find yourself a good "glass man."  We have one in our town that replaces everything from picture frame glass to church windows.  They know what they are doing and this won't be any big job for them what-so-ever.  This might not be a job you will want to handle yourself since this is an antique and any damage you might do will only depreciate it's value.  A good glass man can replace something like this and your piece will be as good as new.

  2. sounds like the same kind of glass thaat they use for picture frames. They are sometimes held in with a little T shaped tab that has a point on one edge. The pointy edge gets pushed into the wood of the frame. U start by laying it flat on the glass then move it toward the wood and when u get to the wood u either tap it in with a small hammer or push it in by hand if the wood is soft.

Look at the oppisite side to see if there are any tabs or glue or push pins.

Also measure the other side glass to see what size u need. I've also seen doors where they glue in the glass with silicone.
