I just bought an eBay item. I have recieved a receipt in an e-mail. Will I get anymore e-mails? (ie shipping)?

I'm new at eBay, but for example, Amazon, you get a receipt e-mail and another e-mail about the shipping date. What about for e-bay?

It all depends on the seller, , just ask them if they will let you know when they ship the item, most with good customer service will do that for you,

This depends on who you are dealing with and how you are going to get your merchandise.

Most sellers(if they have a good rating) will inform you when your item ships out and which method of shipping that they use.

If you use paypal, you will get a receipt from them in an e-mail letting you know about the transaction for your records, or for you to check your account in case you didn't make the purchase.

If you don't receive an e-mail about when your item will ship, you can e-mail the seller and ask. They usually don't mind and this gives you a peace of mind in knowing you didn't throw money into a firepit.

it would depend on the seller if he/she does those kinds of things like update you on the status of your purchase. you can also try contacting the seller to ask about it.
