I just bought dr. bronner's castille soap now it says its good for everything is it really?

i bought the almond one it smells so good andyway is says its good for everything so i was wondering how true that is i was wondering what expirences people had with it also i was especially wondering about using for laundry does it really clean? or does it leave stains or a residue ? any other suggestions would be great thanks so much

cleans very good, but it tastes like c**p if you try to brush your teeth.
