I just bought my boyfriend the 80 gig ipod classic.

Question

he has windows 2000 and we cant figure out how to download itunes. we hit download on the itunes homepage, but it doesnt install. any solutions? please walk me through step by step b/c i have never ever used an ipod.

I don't think it's compatible with anything but XP or Vista; it's a new program, and Windows 2000 is 8 years old.  I'd recommend upgrading your OS; otherwise, you can't use iTunes to get music.

i think you might have to upgrade your windows...

even if you didn't have an iPod, and need itunes, still Windows 2000 is pretty old.  you can get some pretty cheap good packages now.
