I just bought my son a laptop computer. What ISP is the best for laptops economy wise?

Do you have Time Warner Cable in your area?  I hesitate to call  them anyhthing anywhere near "the best", but they offer a Roadrunner Lite option, which only costs something like $24.95 a month for the high speed access.  Its not as fast as their more expensive options, but those faster options cost a lot more each month!  For the vast majority of users, the RR Lite is more than enough.  I personally stream Netflix movies using the Lite, and it works perfectly for that, as well as email, and limited music and photography uploading and downloading!
