I just bought some speakers and an amp and the guy i bought them from said i need an adapter to hook it up...?

He said i need an adapter to hook it up because i have the stock cd player in the car. Where can i get he said best buy will sell me one cheap and hook it all up for me. What kind of adapter will i need and can u show me a link to one on bestbuy walamart or other stores so i can see what he is talking about. Thank you for all your help. The car is a Buick Lesabre Limited 2001

just go into best buy and ask for a line output converter, they are 25.99 plus tax bud

a good one is a PAC-SNI35.   High level converter.  about $20

its called a "LOC" converter, usually is about 20 dollars
