I just bought some tonkatsu sauce(med-sweet), what else can i use it on apart from katsu? thanks?

what else can i use it for apart from using it as an accompaniment to fried foods?? Especially how do the japanese use it?

  1. I use it as a dip for chicken nugget style tofa, as a glaze on fish and as an addition to meatballs and sandy pot entrees with a Japanese flavoir, it is nice with alot of things even on a BBQ steak.

    In Japan it is mainly use for Tonkatsu mostly, but some will be daring and try it on other things, it is alot like chinese hoisin sauce, it can be used in a variety of dishes as a sweet and soya flavoured additive. I used it when I worked in Japan on Udon noodles stir fried with cabbage, garlic fried tofu/seitan and bamboo shoots.
