Question:

I just bougjt a 82 Honda V45 Magna sometimes my turn signals work?

Sometime my signal lights work fine and then I get back on and they don;t work at all, any help. Thanks James

  1. I was wondering whatever happened to my old roomate's Magna after it got smooshed into the back of his Van by the downstairs neighbor's car!  ;-)


  2. Those are great little bikes-I had a '85 V-65-faster than many of the space bikes back then. It sounds like a ground problem to me. If it's more serious than that, those bikes are still very popular today so parts are still readily available from Honda dealers as well as the aftermarket.

  3. It's got to be something simple. Probably the flasher relay. Could be the switch too I guess. Maybe remove the flasher unit, clean the contacts and try it out. Don't get carried away cleaning the contacts. Just a little abrasive or even just an electronic contact spray will do it. Good luck. I wouldn't ride a bike without signals.
