  1. some people have a tough time beinbroken up with.  Its a rejection and prob feels as if u turned your back on him.itll be tough at first but im sure h**l want to keep u in his life so give it a little time.

  2. I don't get why people don't understand this. Breaking up with someone and saying "but we can be friends!!" is SO selfish.

Its like ripping their heart out of their chest and saying here, you can keep it to play with though!

You can never be friends with someone you love, because just friends isn't good enough. Try being friends with someone while remembering their touch, their love, their every confidence placed in you. And then he has to watch you move on, too! Shame on all who make such an absurd request.

  3. No for me i agree with the bf you two should not be friends because it will be even more awkward trust me i have done this a couple times and it aint work out to well.  Like they are totally different afterwards like they don't act the same.  So I just say you don't see him period, and at the same time you broke up with him right?

  4. Well vif he doesnt respect that then maybe you should just STOP talkin to him period.

  5. It isn't always possible to be friends after a romantic relationship breaks and you just need to understand that and move on. You did what you needed to do for yourself.

  6. Give it time. If you were dating a long time it could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months or more before he can consider you a friend.

  7. My ex said nearly the EXACT same thing (said he'd always be waiting and would always want more...), but I just took it very casually, and he's chilled out a lot, so give it time.

And if he won't be your friend, then it's not a huge deal...it doesn't always work out.

  8. You must have had your reasons for breaking up with him, so act like you don't need him, not even for a friend.  Talk to your real friends and maybe they will help you through your situation and get you another date.  There is so much advice on breakups on the internet; you can even read the breakup chapter in "Dating for Dummies" and "The Idiot's Guide to Dating".

  9. let him be that way
