I just brought a Blue Roan Mustang Phillie. I want to fatten her up?

What is the best thign to feed her as she is a petite size and just under 14hands tall. I want to help her fill out and im in Las Vegas. She is super smart and is already been handled so how long should i lunge before i put a saddle on her and try to mount. She has been ridin before and bridled. Thankx

  1. horses are not reptiles..

    lunge her for 2 weeks... then ground drive for 2 weeks more (at least) before lunging with saddle...

    fatten up with oats and good hay.. introduce new feed gradually..
