  1. Do not use ice directly on  the burn, it can damage the tissue that was burned. Run your finger under cool water for several minutes. Since your skin peeled, you need to apply a bandage. There are some over the counter burn dressings you can buy if it continues to hurt...but it should stop in a few hours. It may still hurt to the touch but if it's not bad it will heal soon.

  2. You can use regular tooth paste on the finger it will cool it off, take a pain killer and at a drug store you can find a burn relief gel with Aloe extra gel, it has lidocaine witch is a local anesthetic.

  3. I just did the same thing this weekend with an iron....Use ice that is really the only thing that finally made mine stop hurting....How large is the burn, if it is very large then you should get some medical attention...Good luck

  4. keep it cooled off by running it under water or icing it then put burn cream on it and watch to make sure it don't blister.

  5. run cool water over it thats all i know

  6. Do NOT put ice on it. Run your hand under cool (not cold) water, and do not put any kind of oil on it such as butter or marjarine. If it does not have a blister than you can cover it with a clean, light cloth, but if it is blistered then leave it to the open. If you have a first aid kit with a burn gel you can use that, those are made for burns so they are safe, but other than that there really isn't much you can do to stop the pain. Maybe someone could go to the drug store for you to get the gel? Hope you feel better soon, sorry you got hurt.
