Question:

I just can't eat breakfast?

I wake up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready for football practice. I would love to eat breakfest, but my body just wont let me eat anything I feel sick to my stomach when i try to eat anything. But i can drink all I want, and im fine. And then I pig out at dinner. Is there anyway to fix this or do i just have to deal with it?

  1. try to eat like a piece of toast cause thats not too much


  2. Have you tried a protein shake or a meal replacement shake?  This might help fuel you through practice.  

  3. I've got a similar problem. I can never eat right whenever I get up. I can be extremely hungry, but just won't want to get anything down. So, instead of eating while getting ready, try to leave yourself a bit of time right before you leave and grab something then, or, if that fails, get something that you can take with you on the way to practice like pop-tarts or an granola bar or something and eat it when you know you won't get sick. A little granola bar is a lot better than nothing. If all else fails, try getting up a little earlier and give your body a little more time to get itself up and running.

  4. Start with something small like an apple or granola bar every morning. Your body probably isn't used to eating when you wake up, so you have to take it slow. What you're doing is bad for your body and ruining your metabolism.

  5. Try to eat breakfast, eat as usual lunch, but starve yourself at dinner.

    Next morning yo wouldbe hungry.

  6. eat only a tiny amount, so you dont feel sick..then gradually start increasing the amount until you dont feel sick anymore

  7. I used to be the same way. Once I got to college and didn't always have time for lunch, I made myself drink things with calories in it like milk, or I would make a fruit smoothie. Just slowly incorporate more and more calories into your breakfast and eventually you'll be able to eat. Maybe after two weeks of a piece of fruit, or a smoothie, you can have a small bowl of cereal and slowly increase the amount and things you eat.

  8. i couldn't take anything for breakfast before but i forced myself to little by little take something. now, i eat as soon as i wake up.
