  1. Not really.

But my friend Michelle made this comparison and it makes me laugh.

  2. oh yes i certainly do.  i am still laughing.

  3. I always thought he looked like a horse. I can't believe it took this long for others to notice. I've called him Mr. Ed from the beginning.

  4. Yeah, but how do you make an avatar out of that?

  5. Yes. He's just whining as usual.

  6. I thought it was funny because Carl is a Mr. Ed type as much as I like him.

  7. YES!!! I think that was hilarious! One of the highlights of the race!!

  8. If I remember correctly, the announcers just kept on saying it over and over again too!

Oh man, that was the funniest thing I've heard in NASCAR in awhile.

  9. I do.

  10. It definitely leaves a clear visual image to go with...LOL.

    *HEXX*

  11. Yes!  LOL

  12. Yeah it was funny but don't they know John Elway is the original Mr Ed??

  13. No.  Just goes to show Kyle's 6th grade thought process.

  14. Yes

  15. Yeah it was kind of funny as was Tony calling him Eddie Haskel.

But the worst one I think is Junebug for Dale Jr.  I bet that just grates on him.

Many times these nicknames stick and really shouldn't.  The race announcers are guilty most of all I think.

When Jeff Gordon was driving that bright colored Dupont Chevy he and his team got the nickname "Rainbow Warrior" and since the rainbow colored flag is used by the g*y pride people that helped spread rumors of his sexuality.   We all in NASCAR Nation know he doesn't swing both ways.

Also "Front row Joe" for Joe Nemechek...well that doesn't speak for him anymore..

I like the positive ones best... like "Smoke"..."Happy Harvick" , The King, The Intimidator"....etc...

  16. I thought it was hilarious

  17. I was cracking up laughing! That was funny!

  18. No. It was  crude. Shows Busch's' mentality.

  19. It was hilarious. Edwards handled it well.

  20. you need to get it out of your head cause it werent that funny.

Eddie Haskell, now that was funny.

  21. I missed it!

But I'm sure my husband knows what you're talking  about.

  22. it was a bit childish, but couldn't be that childish as mr. ed went off the air decades before kyle was born. he must have caught some episodes on nick at nite. i thought it was funny because it did work on two levels - the obvious physical reference to carl's physiognomy, and the reference to how mr. ed the horse used to apologize to wilbur all the time then do the same things over and over again.

hate it or love it, you remembered it.

  23. I thought it was hilarious.

  24. this should help

  25. Ohhhhhhh Willllllburrrrrrr.............that was real funny!!!

It won't be as funny as "Mr Ed" finishing ahead of "Gomer Pyle" in the Chase though..........................

  26. I'm a Carl fan, and despise the beady-eyed "Weasel," but yeah it was pretty funny, especially because he was so pissed off at being upstaged twice within a few minutes by Carl.  Besides, I used similar equine comparisons to John Elway, though my age gave me an excuse for the immaturity at that time, unlike the "Weasel."

  27. Yep, but it was funnier when Smoke called Edwards "Eddie Haskell."

Who knew NASCAR drivers liked TV Land that much?

  28. Yes, I thought it was funny, especially since it was coming from Peewee Herman.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  29. Yes! That cracked me up.
