  1. The important thing is that she should know not to do it where anyone might see her.

Tell her it is a personal thing and no one should touch her body like that but her.

It's not a bad thing,  it's just a very personal thing.

  2. i've done it since i was 3

  3. how does she even know wht that is

  4. she is just curious about her body.

  5. are you sure that was it or was she just itching or uncomfortable? maybe her underwear was bothering her?

you don't know for a fact she was doing it for pleasure..

  6. Yes that's very normal. In fact, lot's of kids might do that! It's perfectly normal. They are just exploring themselves like the others said.

But you should still have a little talk with her about what she did.  Ask her where did you learn that?, Who taught you that, did you see that on tv? etc...

       Hope I helped

  7. it is completly normal she is just curious about her body that all.

  8. Children around that age are starting to explore their bodies. They are just curious. It's completely normal because everyone has done it when they were children.

If you consult her doctor, the doctor will say it's normal.

  9. I have 5 girls, 15, 14, ,10, 6, and 5, all 5 of them have went through similar experiences, and sooner or later have grown out of it. One of them got a little public about it, but do not ask them like it is something shameful or yell at them for it. It is completly normal.

  10. Based on my experience with my four kids and converstaions wtih friends, I feel confident saying that it's totally normal. I wouldn't worry about it. With my one daughter, she was sort of becoming public about it and we told her that it was okay to touch herself but that it's something she should do in private when she's alone. She's either outgrown it or taken our advice.

  11. totally normal...talk to her about her body! dont be lame. With my daughter i went so far as to grab a marker and map out her body parts for her. She knows where her main organs are and all her female body parts, ovaries, tubes etc. Go so far as to grab a mirror for her so she can see herself. Dont raise her up thinking her v****a is dirty. you can set the stage right at this age. once you talk about it...it wont be as scary ..i promise! weird...but not scary.

  12. I have twins that are that age and they do the same thing except on each other.

  13. it's completely normal. my son and step-son (both 7) have been doing it since they were 3 or so. we once caught them touching each other and put a stop to that but.. NEVER tell them it is nasty or that they shouldn't do it. you don't want them thinking that masturbation  or s*x is bad cuz it's not. just let them know that it is something you do alone in the privacy of your own room.

  14. What specifically do you mean by masturbating?  Do you think she was aroused or exploring her body?  I think it's common for most children to be curious about there body.  I would probaby approach my child in a way that is non confrontational and ask questions like "What were you doing?" "Has anyone ever touched you like that?"  "Have you seen anyone do that before on television" etc.

  15. Oh my God!!!! where on earth she get the idea to do that? kids nowadays learn many things in a young age and they watched too often many telivision mvies and they are curious to know. thats is why in my home with my kids around my hubby and i wont allow them to watch PG program or if we are watchinng i"ll make sure i am with them and those act is not good for the young kids like them.I tell my 12yrs. old daughter you can be alone with the boy inside your room if both of you are married. For me, that kind of act is not normal for the kids of young as 6yrs is doing that kind of thing to her ownself. My advice try to watch her carefully and talk or ask her why she is doing that.Good luck.
