  1. no, it won't fully delete it is a part of windows.  that is why you shouldn't use it (IE) on the internet.

  2. I think you might want to keep internet explorer in case you don't like firefox. Better safe than sorry :)

  3. On the safe side, I would say no. You never know if fire fox with crash or if you have problems with it and can't get to IE you may play heck trying to get on the internet period. I have both on my system just in case. But that is all up to you.

  4. I wouldn't delete Internet Explorer. Some websites require Internet Explorer. It's rare, but when it happens, I'm glad that I still have it.

  5. No, don't delete it. You will not be able to upgrade your system without using IE. But you can "emulate" IE from within FF by installing an addon called IE Tab. Works really well.

  6. I would not if I were you. Firefox isnt compatable with all websites and programs, just keep it. you never know when you will need to open a site, that will not work with firefox

  7. Internet Explorer is a key component of windows.  You can disable lots of it, but you cannot delete it and have Windows work.

  8. Don't delete IE.  It is required for windows updates.  Microsoft made sure that the update site wouldn't work with anything except IE.

  9. Keep it as backup just in case. Also, some of the programming code is tied into other Windows programs so deleting IE can cause bugs with those.

I use Firefox and Opera exclusively nowadays.
