I just hit my head really hard on a table and I didn't even realize that it was bleeding (it just really hurt) until I laid back against my bed and there was a blood mark there. I'm not really dizzy, but I'm wondering what to do about it. I have my head wrapped tightly in a towel; what else can I do? Thanks! Oh by the way I'm 13.

  1. put some rubbing alchohol on a q-tip then rub it, and then put presure on it unitil it looks better.

  2. If you are at all worried, go and see your local qualified medical doctor.  It could be a small cut because head cuts do bleed a lot.  However you need not worry all by yourself, there is no need.  For reassurance see your doctor, or if you would prefer go to your school nurse for advice.

  3. head injuries are so serious this girl got hit on the head by a pole and went to sleep and died in her sleep from internal bleeding, go to a doctor please! you could pass out because your bleeding on the inside right by your brain! my friend hit his head falling down and died the next day. i'm not even joking. its serious.

  4. That is pretty much it.  Your head has lots of blood vessels so it will bleed alot.  If you feel faint, have blackouts, pain gets worse. you develop a terrible headache, become dizzy, cant see, or your vision starts becoming out of focus, become nauseous, or begin throwing up go to the ER immediatly.

  5. Put a WHOLE LOT of pressure on it with a rag or something... call 911, and find someone to help you, you do not want to fall asleep if you have a concussion

  6. If the blood didn't come pouring out it's not big deal. Put a bandaid on and call it a day. People just freak out when blood comes out of the head.

  7. Find an adult and let them examine your head, it could be that you may need to go and get treatment. If you begin to feel sick, vomit or become dizzy and faint phone 911 or ask someone else to phone 911 straight away. When the bleeding stops try and dab the area with some antiseptic cream or liquid, if it doesn't stop bleeding within 20 minutes, get help.
