yea. just get some tin foil and the color of dye you want.

If your hair is in pretty good condition... yes you can do it yourself... especially since you said you just want some pieces... section off the pieces you want blond... lay the hair on a piece of foil... apply the bleach on the hair and let it process til it reaches a pale yellow or out of the orangey stage... rinse and the come back with a toner on the bleached hair... this being the color of blond you want the hair to be... if you have a Sallys beauty supply in your area they are great in helping you select the bleach, foils and toner...

Put some blonde extenstions in your hair its a lot less damaging then dying it.

I would add extentions where I would want the color that way you dont have to bleach your hair.

all you need to do is buy hair bleach

or you can go to a salon & do it

just do not buy a blonde dye, it wont work at all with black

it will most likely just turn your roots orange...

Yeah it is. You can get it done at a salon (which I think would be best.)

They'll bleach your hair and dye it.

If I were I would definitely not do it myself.

Since it would most likely turn your hair orange in parts.

You could go to a hair salon and get it done.

Or maybe get a light chestnut brown or dark blonde highlights.
