I just finished reading the book FOREVER by Judy Blume...?

And it eneded as if there is a second part to the book.She shoulda made a second part.But i really wished that Katherine stayed with Micheal.But their loved died,sadly.When Theo came in the picture,it was all over for them.Did anyone get the moral of the story? I wonder whats gonna happen with Theo and her.Is she gonna repeat everyritng she did with Micheal? And then she finds another guy and repeats the cycle again.Im just saying,it would of been a better ending if Theo didn't get in the picture.Don't you think?Love hurts.

I think Judy Blume was trying to tell us that our first loves are unlikely to be our last.  No matter how special we think that guy is that we give our virginity to, he is unlikely to be someone we spend the rest of our lives with.  It may seem like a "Forever" love at the time but facts are it probably isn't.  I know very few people in real life that are married and still with the first person they had s*x with.  The few people that I think may be with the first person person they had s*x with waited until marriage or until they had already committed to an adult relationship (ex - engagement, after college, being together many year, etc.).  I personally do not know anyone that married their high school sweetheart and are still together.

I loved loved loved her books when I was young 30 years ago and read them.  

This one did exactly what is was supposed to do, which is make you think about relationships.   Take your own carefully, and choose well.

To answer your own question, think about what,  if anything, she learned from the first guy, and will she make the same mistakes again?

this is what makes a great read!
