I just finished twilight, and i have some questions.?

Question

It was really good, obviously not as good as harry potter or anything but i was wondering, why bella didnt get killed in the end and what edward had to do to get the venom out of her, also what did the tape of her and her mother have anything, to do with it.

Also, i want to read more of the sage, but everyone says new moon does not have edward in it, i love edward. So why would i want to read it? what could happen, also, i dont care about spoilers, why does edward leave?

DONT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHEN THEY SAY NOT TO READ NEW MOON.  read the books.. they are AMAZING!!!! and breaking dawn (the last book) just came out.. =D which was sooo good.. read the books.. i highly recommend them .. <3

the tape was to hurt bella... and also .. edward showed up right on time to save bella ( too cute) .. he sucked the vennom out so bella wouldnt become a vamp. ..

cuz when bellas opening her present she gets a papercut and jasper jumps for her and she gets hurt so he thinks its best 4 her that he leaves

bella didnt get killed because after bella blacked out, edward came in and killed james.

edward had to suck the venom out of bella. so he drank her blood and james venom

the tape with bellas mother was to get bella to come to the dance studio. her mom would call out to her in that way whenever she was scared for bella.  James played it for bella on the phone so she would think her mom was taken and bella would come to save her

in new moon edward does leave. he beleives its best for bella to live life without him because of all the dangers he brought to her like the other bad vampires.  but he comes back in the end so its good :]

Okay, first off, Bella didn't get killed because James just bit her, she would have been turned into a vampire then, but Edward sucked the venom out of her. And the tape of her and her mother is what led Bella to the Dance studio, he used the tape to make it seem like her Mom was on the phone, saying "Bella, Bella!" etc. Therefore, she went to the ballet studio where she found out it was just a old family movie.

Secondly, if you wish to continue the series (which i HIGHLY recommend) then you have to read New Moon, it does have Edward in it, just barely though. Edward leaves because he feels like he is keeping Bella from having a regular life, he feels he is protecting her by leaving. But it all ends in a happily ever after :)

Edward loves her so much he had to save her and the tapes had her moms voice in it to make her think that her mom was there. and he sucked the venom out of her blood so she don't become a vampire. And New Moon does have Edward just not for most of the book and if you read new moon and then eclipse and then breaking dawn you will love the whole series.

Edward sucked the venom out of her hand.

The tape was to make Bella think that James had her mother hostage so that she would go to meet him by herself and try save her mother.

In New Moon Bella cuts herself in front of all the Cullens and Jasper attacks her because hes not as restrained as the others. This leads Edward in to thinking that Bella can't be safe with any of them around and leaves her. But he does come back in the end, well Bella goes to save him actually. Its good though and will help you understand alot of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

The tape was there to send Bella over to the room. It had her mother going "Bella! Bella!" frantically, making Bella think that James had her in the room so that Bells could come.

Also, to get Eclipse and the rest of the books I'd read New Moon. It eventually gets better. No Edward for most of the book but you'll live. He leaves to protect her and when he hears she's dead because of a mistake from Rosalie, he goes to the Volturi to commit suicide.

I disagree with you about Harry Potter being better, but whatever.

Bella didn't get killed because Alice and Edward were able to figure out where she was and they got to her before James was able to suck her blood; he just bit her. Edward has to fight his instinct and disire to suck all of Bella's blood so he can get the venom out of her hand. If he didn't go this, Bella would turn into a vampire. The tape was used to get Bella to go into the dance studio. She thought James had her mother.

I ha vent read New Moon yet, so I don't know if/why Edward leaves. I do know that he is in the begaining, because they are celebrating Bella's 18th birthday. I hope he doesn't leave, because I'm pretty much obsessed with him!!

she didnt get killed because edward got to the ballet studio in time and fought james until his siblings came and helped him finish him off.

and edward had to suck the venom out of her like a rattle snake.

the tape was there because james was making bella come and he knew the only way she would come is if he had something specail to her and since her mother was in florida he found some old home video.

and you really should read new moon it has edward in it just not much.  its mostly about bella being all deprested and her looking jacob up again and them becomeing more and more friends. edward left because of what happened at her b-day party(jasper got all crazy when bella got a paper cut) and so they all left.

but he does come back.

what happens is edward leaves because he doesn't want to effect bella any more

The tape of Bella and her mom is what James used to lure Bella to ballet studio. he used the audio of her mom in the phone call to make her think that he had her mom.

you should read the rest of the saga, even new moon. on the whole, it's really good. yes edward is in it. he just takes a "leave of absence" through about half of it. his leaving is a major point in the series that you shouldn't miss. and he only leaves because he's trying to save her life. he thinks he puts her in more danger than normal and at her birthday party--the cullens through her a nice party with just them and bella--she accidentally gets cut and jasper and everyone else goes completely crazy. so he decides to leave to make her life less dangerous, but it turns out that she's in more danger without him.

but he does come back. so you should definitely read it!

Bella didn't get killed in the end of Twilight because that would end the series and because Edward saved her. Edward sucked the venom out of Bella's bloodstream but he was worried that he wouldn't stop when the venom was out and would keep on drinking her blood. The tape was the sadistic vampire's way of luring Bella to the dance studio so he could kill her without having to wait for Bella's real mom to come home. Bella thought it was her mom's voice she heard on the phone when it was really the tape.

I really think you should read new moon in order to finish the series. You don't want to keep wondering what could have happened, right? But yeah it's not the best book of the series but it was still pretty good even with Edward one for more than half of it. Edward leaves in New Moon because he thinks he is a danger to Bella.That's all I'm saying. You should read the book if you want to know the details.

Edward sucked the venom out because if he didn't, she would have become a vampire and he wanted her to be able to live a regular human life. The tape of Bella and her mother was used over the phone so that Bella would think that James had her mom. And yes, it is true that Edward isn't it a lot of New Moon but it is still a very good book. And I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

James used to tape to trick Bella into thinking he had her mom. Her voice was used and she sounded scared, which upset Bella.

You should defo read New Moon. Edward is hardly in it, but Jacob is. I'm team Switzerland (I like them both the same) and once you get to know Jake, you might like him too. Edward comes back in this really romantic part about two thirds of the way through. He is amazing, but I dont want to spoil it for you.

He basically leaves to make it safe for her after Jasper accidently tried to kill her.

You should read it because you won't understand Eclipse unless you do, and Eclipse is the most romantic and best book in the series as far as I'm concerned.

James played the part of the tape where her mother was saying her name to make Bella think he had her mother. New Moon has Edward in the beginning and end. Its worth the read. He leaves because he feels he is putting Bella in danger. But you need to read New Moon, so you can read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The whole saga is amazing!

Bella didnt get killed in the end because Edward saved her from James. She was near death when Edward finally got to her. They saved her just in time and she just ended up with a gash on her hand where James bit her. Edward sucked out the venom. James had used the tape of Bella and her mom as a trick. He made her believe that he had her mom, which is why she went by herself.

Im reading New Moon right now. Edwad leaves because first he felt super bad that his brother Jasper tried to attack Bella when she got a papercut during her birthday party. Edward became very distant then he just told her that they had to move on already because they cant stay in one place too long because then people will be suspicious that they never age. Then he just left. But then Bella starts developing a relationship with Jacob. Jacob also has a big secret. Even if Edward isnt really in it, you start to fall in love with Jacob too. He is the exact opposite of Edward.

New Moon is really good so far, Im barely in the middle of it. If you really loved the whole Edward and Bella love story, keep reading the saga. It starts turning into a love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob! I wonder who she will choose in the end.
