  1. You can feed regular kitten food.  I would give the kitten mix of wet and dry kitten food.  It does not need milk of any type; just water.  You need to take the kitten to the vet ASAP to tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.  The cat also needs first round of shots, to be checked for worms and de wormed, and flea prevention.  Have a room in your home just for the kitten, with a litter box in it and keep the kitten in the room when you are not home until the kitten is good with her/his litter box.  Just be affectionate with the kitten to be him/her to become used to people.

  2. Take the kitten to a vet to be checked over first. The vet can make sure the kitten is healthy, doesn't have any diseases or other problems, give it shots to prevent illnesses and give you advice on what to feed it.

Make sure you get a littler box and litter. See if you can introduce the kitten to some of the ecofriendly litters based on things like corn husks or old newspapers or one called Feline Pine rather than the clay-based litters. Overall healthier for you and the cat. Make sure you keep the litter box cleaned. Keep the litter box in the bathroom or a corner out of the way.

Always make sure the kitten has plenty of water to drink. Buy some toys for the kitten.

Of course give the kitten as much attention and petting as it wants (and you can do!) Never yell loudly or hit the kitten if it misbehaves, instead get a squirt bottle and spray the kitten with water if it does something wrong. And you have to do it at the time it misbehaves, not later because cats don't remember things the way we do.

Ask friends who have animals who their vet is (if a friend has a good vet, that's always helpful rather than just trying anyone). Call different places to get an idea on costs, and if they have a payment plan in case you can't afford to pay all at once.

    Good luck!

  3. omg this happened to me three years ago what we did was feed her milk untill we got kitten food and kept her in a large cage (we already had it) so she didnt get away. And just let her grow up once you think shes old enough try letting her live outside of the cage. I believe that we also kept her inside alot when we first found her.

  4. Feed it "9 Lives"

  5. I just found a 6 week old kitten about 2 weeks ago... they sell kitten food at most big stores like walmart or target, or a pet store. I would suggest buying both wet and dry food... I bought 9 lives for dry food and then these little pink cans... I can't remember the brand right now, but just make sure it's for kittens. You should also buy a litter box and litter right away so it learns how to use it.. mine did right away and never had an accident. You'll also want to get it something to make it feel safe and like it has a place to hide.. maybe a bed or a pet carrier that you can leave out for it to go in whenever it's scared. I also bought some between bath wipes to make sure it stayed clean because at 6 weeks they don't clean themselves much. You should take it to a vet soon to make sure everything is ok, but I'm sure it will be. Good luck and have fun with your new kitten! :)

  6.   AWWWWWWWWWWWE . Just give her regular cat food that is formulated for kittens . Give her lots of attention.

  7. If you ask me I say you should buy some cat food from a store like wallmart, buy it a collar, make sure it gets all its shots and give it lots of tender love and care. maybe teach it some tricks.

  8. i have raised kittens before, go to a nearby store where they sell pet food like petsmart, petco or walmart and buy a bottle and milk formula. The milk formula has instructions on how to make the milk, you may need to cut a hole in the baby bottle.

  9. First feed him.Second get him to a vet,it might have medical problems.potty train him and the most important-Love him ;]

  10. First of all, DO NOT GIVE THE KITTEN MILK! Pasteurized milk is very unhealthy for a kitten - or adult cat.  They cannot digest it. It is old enough for kitten food.  I would mix a little of kitten formulated wet food and kitten chow in a shallow dish (like a saucer).  Make sure he/she has a water bowl with fresh water (and that he/she can reach in to!).  You will also probably have to teach him/her how to use the litterbox.  Also make sure it is a kitten-size type (in this case, until he can climb in and out of a normal size litter box, use a shallow cardboard box lined with plastic).  Do not leave him to roam your house unattended, you should put him/her in a safe, smaller room with all the above things.  As soon as you are able, you need to take him to the vet for his initial shots and exam, and between 8-14 weeks get him/her neutered or spayed.  Good luck with your new little buddy.

  11. Well, first of all don't give it milk that you would drink. Milk like that can upset a cat's stomach.

I suggest getting softer foods at first, then slowly over time mixing in hard food until you cut out soft food entirely.

Get a litter box and change it every two days or so. Keeping a clean litter box will keep your kitty from going to the bathroom in your place.

Cats love string or small little toys. Even a little plastic ball will keep your kitty happy.

Also, you should go to a vet and see if your kitten needs any shots to make sure it's healthy and lives for a long time.

And give your kitten lots of love and a nice little collar with all of your information on it, just in case it gets out.

    Have fun. :D

  12. get it some kitten food and a litter box with some kitty litter to potty train it right away and feed him and love him

  13. I found myself in the same situation two weeks ago. I always made sure he had access to litter and water, and I fed him some dry kitten food and a little bit of milk from time to time.

Try keeping him in a certain area of the house and "kitten proof" it, by getting rid of anything that could harm it (wires, plants, dogs, etc.).

Also, if you can't keep the kitten, try not to get too attached. Don't name him or anything similar.

  14. you need to go to the supermarket and get milk(kitten milk mix) and get a animal feeding bottle and hand feed it in till about the kitten is 8 weeks old. these can be found in the pet food part a wal-mart or a vet office.if you don't feed him milk he/she will die.

  15. You could feed it lunch meet. I'm sure it's old enough for that. Nothing too hard...

Is it sick or injured? Can you tell?

  16. First, you should see if it will eat hard cat food.

It might not be able to, yet.

If it can't then you should take it to a vet and ask what to do.

  17. if its is six months old it should be able to eat regular cat food. give it a toy and some good food, if you can afford get its shots checked and all that.

  18. Usually you can find kitten milk formula at a veterinary clinic. Always make sure that he is warm and comfy. Keep him away from dogs since if he's scared it could raise his chance of dying.

    Good luck!

  19. Take it to the vet to see if it is healthy. While you are there, just ask him what you should feed it and how to take care of it and all.

  20. I once found a cat that did not eat Hard food just go get a baby bottle and go to walmart and by some kitten milk formula And just keep him warm and hold him alot so he/she get used to you

  21. You sould take it to a vet to see how healthy it is.Then give it some warm milk and soft cat food depending on how healthy the cat is. As soon as you find an orphaned kitten it must be protected from becoming chilled. Place it under your clothes next to your skin. Most of the young kitten's energy is needed for growth and yelling for more food, so there's not a lot left over for heat generation. Normally the mother cat and litter mates would provide a good deal of warmth. During their first week, kittens should be kept between 88 and 92 degrees F. For the next 2 weeks they still need temperatures of 80 degrees or so. When they reach 5 weeks or so they can tolerate a lower room temperature

  22. breast feed it in public

  23. If your kitten has not be taken to a vet or shelter to be checked out you need to do that; they will give you a schedule of "kitten shots" he/she will need. Go to the store and get "kitten food" if you found it outside, like I did give it a flea dip to make sure there are no parasites hiding on the kitten.  If you have a soda box or something similar in size  you can use that for a litter box and get a few toys for your kittten to play. I almost forgot a brush-you can get them at any pet dept. of a store.

Kittens are easy to potty train, put them in the litter box periodiacally through out the day, showing them where it is and they begin to use the litter box. I have litter box trained 5 cats.

Find a place for his/her bowl of food and water, the kitten food has enough vitamins and calcium for your kitten.

Give your kitten lots of love and attention; you will be just fine. There are several sites & books , if you need help.
