I just found mouse turds in my rabbit's dish. What can I do?

My son has 2 mini-rex rabbits that we keep in 2 hutches outside. He left yesterday to go to Church camp, so I am feeding them. When I went to feed them today, I found mouse p**p in the bottom of the food tray. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can prevent this?

Are you sure it's not rabbit p**p that is just really small? If you aren't feeding your rabbit's hay, they will become constipated and their p**p will become smaller.

Get the rabbits water bottles that hang on the side of the cage.  Nothing can get into the water with the bottles.
