I just found out I'm pregnant (if the test was accurate), how should I tell my husband.?

Funny story. This was an accident. We were planning on trying next July when our first son would be 2 1/2 years old. I felt some pregnancy symptoms for a while but I've had false symptoms before so I didn't worry my husband by telling him about them. Then today he said we should start trying to have a baby now. So I went ahead and took a HPT and it was positive, both times (took it 2x). So how should I tell him. I told him I was going to take a test today but I want to tell him kinda creatively.

I wrote a poem and gave it to him right when he walked in the door from work.

Honestly just tell him "BABY YOU THE MAN" and when he tells you why are you saying that show him the HPT.

You could place the test some where you know he will look.  When he gets home, does he get a shower or go to the computer?  Then place it there so he will walk right up on it.  Or have your son give him a note you have written about being happy you and him are having another baby.  Have fun and I hope he is surprised!!~~~

You can home calculate your due date and ask him what you are doing around that time. See if he can figure it out.

But my fav. is leaving the test were he will find it and just waiting.

Buy a 6-pack of beer, open one, empty it/clean it and place a note in there,telling him. Refrigerate and then give it to him when he gets home and he's watching tv.

When i finally get pregnant i am going to have a picture of a baby or hopefully maybe an ultrasound and I'm gonna write i love you daddy i'll see you soon. And my husband is in the army so at his final formation I'm gonna have his sgt. call him to the front and give it to him and ill be standing on the side line. to see his face.

Wow that is so sweet.  Congratulations.  Maybe you should buy your son a shirt that says I'm going to be a big brother.  Put it on him and let him figure it out.

You could make a shirt with your son that gives the good news.  Make it say something fun like, "I'm the big brother".

I love some of the ideas here, however just in case the tests are wrong, get a test done from your doctor to confirm it!

I think you could get some booties, put them in a shoe box and tell him that you bought him some shoes after he gets home from work. Then suprise! when he opens it. :)

Aw thats cute! I wanted to tell my fiancee' in a creative way but he kinda ruined it! LoL but my suggestion would be to take a pair of white booties and two little bottles of pink and blue paint and wrap them up in a gift box and give them to him. See if he can put two and two together.. I dunno probably sounds corny

when i found out i was pregnant i baked a pan of brownines and i wrote on it with icing  "your boys can swim!"    "we're pregnant" and did some little sperm swimming on it. he was super excited and cried.

give him a happy fathers day card with the note inside with here comes number 2!.    my one girlfriend put a covered dish in front of her husband after dinner and when he lifted the lid there was one pink bootee and one blue bootee with a paper question mark between them.  have pink and blue balloons waiting for him when he gets home from work tied to a stork
