Get the point across to him that he needs to stop. Otherwise he is going to lose everything including you. If he continues it could lead to lung cancer and several psychological problems including schizophrenia and depression. Legal or not, smoking is bad.

i don't know what affects it causes but if he doesn't stop sooner or later, dump him. hanging out with him only encourages ot more. it's bad for your reputation and his health.

What? Do you mean marijuana? If he's smoking spices that's pretty weird. I've heard of some spice gold stuff on the internet that is like a legal high that is similar to marijuana. If that's it then i wouldn't worry about it. Don't shout at him. Shouting rarely ever accomplishes anything. If you really wanted him to stop you should be nice about it and tell him that it bothers you and you'd rather not have him do it. That would be way better than shouting. You won't get results with that. It just makes you relaxed and such. It's not really a big deal. Doesn't affect your health or anything. It's fine.
