I just had 2 positive HPT, so I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. Have any of you ever experienced a jabbing/pinching feeling in your uterus in early pregnancy?? What the heck could this be?!

  1. YAY!

now i just got to wait

  2. Yes, i had and still have mild cramps sometimes.  It could be the hormones kicking in to expand your uterus.

  3. Yes, I've had this throughout my pregnancy (I'm almost 12 weeks). It kinda feels like menstrual-like cramps, but not as severe. It's normal. Your uterus is stretching - making more room.

Congrats, Momma!! Now's the best time to set up an appt. with your OBGYN. :)

  4. Is it in the exact same spot?  I had that when I was pregnant...it could be the baby burrowing into your uterus wall.

  5. congrats on ur pregnancy girl am very happy for u.

  6. Congrats!! I'm so happy for you!

  7. It is not uncommon to get all kinds of weird sensations in your lower abdomen in early pregnancy.  The most common is cramping.  There are a lot of hormonal changes taking place and the uterus is preparing for growing baby.

To be safe, you should call your doc on Tuesday and report the symptoms.  They may opt to do a sono just to be sure the see a developing sac in the uterus.  If you start to have severe pain in the middle or especially on one side, any bleeding, or shoulder pain, go right in to the doc or head to the ER.  These are signs of an ectopic pregnancy.

Honestly, I think what you experiencing is perfectly normal.  Just wanted to arm you with information.

    CONGRATS!
