  1. It can be developed, but don't be surprised if the pictures don't turn out very well. Over time, the emulsion on the film deteriorates. I developed an old roll a few years back and the pictures turned out faded and yellowish.

  2. You can still develop it. What results depends on what type of film it is. Most films will acquire a base fog as they age, which will lower the contrast of the images. Additionally, color film dyes usually fade and shift, so the colors will not be accurate. But - if you can see the images on the negatives - you can scan the images and correct them digitally on an application like Photoshop. You may not get back the original quality but you can improve the images enough to make decent prints.

  3. It's old and expired... probably won't come out right, but go ahead and try... most places won't charge you for those.

  4. heat and time could make the chemical composition not work anymore but most places if you go turn in film and it comes out all black, they won't charge you. So there is no risk, go try!

  5. The roll of film itself has an expiration date..But I say you should take them to walmart and get them developed..They only charge you for the pictures you keep and you never know..They may all come out ok! I got some old ones myself!! ;) good Luck!
