only one problem. i kinda have a big butt (compared to the rest of my body). Do you think the horizontal line across the butt (you can click on alternate view to see the back) will only make it look bigger? if so, do you have links to any similar dresses? thanks!

Absolutely beautiful.   I am sure you will look fantastic in it even if you are a little bigger in the back.

Hard to know how it will look on your butt without trying it on.  It LOOKS like it should be OK.

This dress is gorgeous but it's meant to accentuate your curves. If you have curves and are confident in them then embrace it and try something similar in a store and see if you like it.

GIRL that dress is off the chain... IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. i have NEVER seen a dress like that before. dont worry about the back side. the more butt the better. lol ( i have a big butt also)

I promise it'll make you look fabulous!!!! The lines in it will accentuate slightly but in a good way. It'll make your torso look long and your silhouette perfectly proportionate. Get it, it's beautiful!! Good luck!!!

First off, that is a gorgeous dress. I do not know without seeing you in it how it would affect your butt, but don't buy it without trying it on! Be very leery of no refunds/exchanges off the internet! It's gonna be a big day...spend some time looking around!

Hi.  Only you will be able to answer that question.

The dress is OK if you want that s**y of a look.  I think that the eyes go to the butt in that gown no matter what size your butt is...so, if it's on the bigger side....well, I don't know.

Again, go and try it on....that is the only way to know.  Bring some friends or family with you for another opinion.

Honestly, try on the dress if at all possible.  If you have a larger posterior as you mentioned then the shape of that dress will be accenting your largest asset in the entire sense.  

It's a very pretty dress, just try to find somewhere closer to try it or a similiar style.

It's very pretty...I wouldn't worry about having a bigger butt though...the dress will be altered to fit your body....You will look beautiful!

It is a beautiful dress, and I personally think this is one body style to suit women with hips and butt better than those who are very slim.  This design accentuates and flatters your natural curves.

But as always, one can never tell how it looks until you've tried it on in person.  Different proportionality of the body will affect the overall look.

I think it's a nice evening gown. However, if you are telling the truth (!) about your rear, this is not the dress for you. Better to go with something more flattering to your silhouette, that you feel wonderful in and not self-conscious at all!

To be honest, I wouldn't wear such a tight fitting gown with a bigger butt. No offense but you don't' want it too look any bigger by such a slimming gown. Try a dropped waist gown, that's what I'm going for. It slims your mid section and then flairs out at the bottom.

Wow - that dress is stunning.  Just gorgeous.  But I have to be honest, if your but is 'bigger' than standard it is going to look huge - Just looking at her but it stands out more than anything.  As others have said though, it is best to try it on and see for yourself.

It doesn't actually suit that model very well - as she needs wider hips to give it more of an hour glass figure - so I think it would be perfect on you (with the details you gave us!)

I also wanted to mention that it is extremely low cut at the front - so just make sure you are comfortable with that and are willing to go without a bra.

I'm sorry.. I think it will make it look bigger.. it makes her hips look extremely wide.  It's a beautiful dress though and don't NOT try it on because of that.. at the very least try it.. you may love it, you may even hate it!

Well, you can try to adjust the straps and pull the dress up so the lie is across your hips instead of your butt. But you shouldnt let that get in the way if you really love the dress then buy it!

Wow, that is gorgeous! Don't worry about your Butt, mine is huge and I looked smashing in my wedding dress. You'd be surprised at what they can do. :) I don't think you'll have to worry.

Gorgeous, absolutely beautiful!!! The style of that dress is going to emphasize your curves, but it probably won't make your butt look bigger. It will just give you a nice hourglass shape.

If you're that worried, maybe you could find a similar dress closer to you and try it on and if you like it then drive the 5 hours.

I think the dress is beautiful. I think that line there will make it look bigger but i think that will look good as well. It has so much design on it that you wont be able to notice your backside.

That dress is bangin.  Now if you have a wide butt then yes that dress will make it look even wider but if it's just big then yeah you can still wear that dress.  I hope this helps.

i think that will draw more attention to your rear, but try it on and get an honest persons opinion. we women tend to see ourselves larger than we really are at times so it may not be as bad as you think. look at mary's bridal. these two dresses are from their unbroken romance collection. i love mary's, they are so great, and they have tons of options. my favorite thing about them is that the train on most if not all of their dresses are detachable so no bustle required!

WOW! Very beautiful dress!! I wish I can pull  off something like that. :) The horizontal detailing on the back will enhance your backside, but I still think it will look really good. :) Very nice choice. :) Congrats!

That type of dress will really accentuate your curves.  I couldn't tell ya how good or bad it will look, because I haven't seen you in it.  But I think a fuller figure would still look amazing in that dress.
