I just gave my hamster the pit of the mango so he can eat the juicey pulp around it?

  1. He should be fine. However hamsters can't eat citrus. Too much of any fruit can give your hamster diarrhea which can progress to Wet Tail, which hamsters can die from. Please be careful of your hamsters fruit intake and look up what hamsters CAN eat before you give it to him. Good luck xoxo

  3. It is okay to give mango to your hamster. But too much of anything is not good, hence make sure that you do not give too much of any juicy fruit which might cause diarrhea to the hamster. The hamster's main diet should be any good brand commercial hamster mix which should account for 75% of the daily hamster diet intake.To make sure that the food you give is approved for a hamster, print out the list of approved foods from the below given site and paste it onto your board for quick reference -

  5. Most of the time its okay for hamsters to eat things like that, accept if he starts to get diarieah make sure you put him back on his regular diet.
