I just got Acuvue2 contacts & I was wondering instead of wearing it 2 weeks in a row, can i pick 14 days?

Sure, they are usually good for 14 days wear within a 30 day period.

After they are a month old though, you will probably start finding them very uncomfortable, even if you only wore them 10 times...

I've worn acuvue 2 color before and I personally don't like them. Oasis is 20 million times better. I personally have never had a problem with wearing them longer then I should. I would have 3 pairs of colors open at once and i would switch off. So your answer is yes, you can. You should always inspect your contacts before you put then in your eye. Check for tears that would seriously burn, check for gunk, basically everything. If they look alright then your free to wear them until you decide to change them.

They tell you only 2 weeks becuase people normally don't clean them enough. if they're cloudy they need to be cleaned. Try http://www.bausch.com/en_US/ecp/visionca... for a daily protein remover and you can wear one pair until you feel like it's time to be changed. Longest I wore mine for was 6 months with very good care.

If they sit in the solution for a long time make sure you clean them and rinse with solution before inspecting them.
