I just got My braces put on today But for some reason is really hard to floss ..?

As I said I got My braces today and I'm trying to follow everything the Orthodontist told me to do with cleaning But I can't floss my teeths ..some of them I can with no effort But a few of them I just can't run the floss through them I do exactly the way I suppose to but the floss won't go in between some of my teeth I wonder If is just that my teeth are really close together or with the braces the moved even closer ..i don't know ..I never had this problem ,before the braces I was always able to floss My whole mouth with no effort ..

is this normal ??? or should I called My dr and ask him why I can't floss???

I have had braces for 7 years and never had this problem. I don't think it is something to worry about but maybe you should ask your doctor about it at your next appt. Maybe you aren't pushing hard enough. Sorry I don't know what the problem is.
