I just got a 11-15 oyster card, how do i insert it into a bus & also do u have to put muny in the oyster card?

i just got an oyster card and im not sure how to put it into a bus,The oyster card is 11-15,so do i have to put money into it??Cus on Youtube i see ppl puttin muny credit on thier oyster card.I live in London.

depends, if you are going to use the Buses then you do not need to put money on it your free. However if you are going to use the London Underground (Tube) then your gong to have to pay. You put 1 pound on the Osyter and you are free to travel on the tube as many times as you want for the whole day. To use the osyter just do the same as what the adults do put it where the yellow sign is and then it will beep many times. Adult oysters beep once but 11-15 beep more than once which is normal.
