I just got a 1972 Mercury 1500 Outboard and would like to get the boat serviced.?

Does anyone know anybody who is good with this and won't charge an arm and a leg? I live in Lakeside, California.

Look for a small marine dealer that does outboard motor repairs. Stay away from the big dealers.

put a add in the newspaper or on craigslist on the computer, ask for a retired boat mechanic, you will get way more for your money
