  1. Wow. That's really good! I would be suprised if you couldn't get into Harvard of Cornell.

  2. Considers how much money your parents have.  I have seen an SAT of 1600 get into Harvard after the parents donated $100,000 to the school.

  3. you know the answer to that, you stupid prick. don't be such a douchebag showoff.

  4. I feel like I've answered this question a million times.

    *sigh*

While you are "good enough" for both schools- your SATs put you in the median score range or better for both schools. You could get in- and I hope you do- but you aren't a shoe in, as many people will have your same academics and extracurriculars but may be better at it, or even more involved. The fact that the class of 2009, thanks to the some demographic bad luck, will be the most competitive year in college admissions ever makes it worse. Yes, you're in debate- but are you the state champion in LD? Did you earn the degree of premier distinction? Have you run an incredibly succesful tournament lately? And as for community hospital work- do you actually have interest in a medical career? Once you've shown more than a passing interest, really excelled- you'd be more of a done deal.

So you're academic half is more than covered, but it will be you're personal successes and attitudes that win you a place. But I will say that I don't see you being rejected from Cornell. Best of luck.

  5. most definitely cornell.  good luck !!

    harvard is very competitive tho!
