  1. Are you asking about the firing pin?  It "floats" in the Mak. Shake the gun (unloaded of course) and you should be able to hear it faintly clinking.  You can remove it quite easily. Flip your safety lever up and back so that is feels loose. Then pull it out away from the slide. The pin will just fall out towards the back of the slide. This is how you clean it and inspect it for wear.  Make sure the little groove in the pin is lined up correctly before inserting it back in the slide then re-insert the safety lever.


  2. Are you looking for the disassembly pin? Makarovs don't have disassembly pins. They're disassembled in the same fashion as Walter PPK's. You pull down on the trigger guard, pull slide back while the trigger guard is still down and tilt the rear of the slid upwards while to slide is pulled all the way to the back to field strip the gun.
