Okay, so I got the T-Mobile 8100...

I have couple questions to ask.

1) Where do I find all of my contacts? I saved them to my SIM card on my old phone and now I can't find them =/

2) When I use IM on the phone, does it count as going online?

3) How do I take a video?

4) Is using the "maps" (which is like a GPS) considered going online?

Thanks :D

I'm new to this, but the phone is great!!!

  1. For the question for video, you would have had to purchase the second-generation Pearl 8120 that T-Mobile sells. The Pearl 8120 can record video (as long as you have a microSD memory card), but the Pearl 8100 cannot.

  2. It might not of saved you contacts when you switched over.

As for I.m and maps, for I.m you need a data plan and some maps require a data plan,if you have a data plan google maps is a great app.

And for video,it doesn't record video.

  3. 1. Press the menu key(it's to the immediate left of the trackball) while in your address book and an option to see your sim phonebook will be there

    2. Not too sure

    3. I've tried taking video but I don't think you can. You can view videos but not make them

    4.Yes

  4. 1) Where do I find all of my contacts? Go into your address book, press the menu key and go to sim phonebook. you can then move them over if you want

    .

    2) When I use IM on the phone, does it count as going online?  I don't believe so...  I never use it so I don't know

    3) How do I take a video? You can't. Not with the pearl. The curve can once the 4.5 version comes out.

    4) Is using the "maps" (which is like a GPS) considered going online?  Yes
