Note: My nickname is VERY different from my real name. Only people who know me would know it.

  1. yes, of course it's way more valid cause the check has your name and nickname on it.

  2. Restrictively endorse it and take to your depository institution.

  3. If you have a checking account, you can cash it at your local bank.  You will have to show an ID and sign the back as follows "For Deposit Only"  The funds may/will not be available for a few days.  If you deal with a local bank that knows you by person, there should be no problem.

  4. Just sign your name and the nickname as it appears on the check.

  5. Why of course.  Just sign your full name on the back of the check as it is written on the front.  It is easier to cash if you have an account with a bank.  But if not, simply go to a check cashing place and produce your I.D.   Cashing it should not be a problem.
