Oh yes.  It's just molting... in fact, at 6 months, this would be its first molt, so this is where it gets its adult feathers, and depending on the mutation, it will look the same if female and different if male (this doesn't happen with pied or lutino whiteface (aka albino, even though it's really not)).

  5. Yes that is normal.  They lose their feathers just like we lose our hair.

  6. Yes dont worry, thats fine. My budgies did that when they were young. They are just losing their baby feathers and grooming themselves. The will be fine. :]
