I am 37 weeks pregnant. Is it just a common cold or am I getting a cold because I could go into labor. I was told getting a cold is common before you go into labor. Is that true?

  1. It's more than likely just a normal cold there is a lot of them going around lately. When i was pregnant i got one too and along with the morning sickness and quitting smoking i felt like i had been hit by the back of a bus lol.

I haven't heard that about getting a cold is common before going into labour, so i'm not sure. I bet you are really peeved as well coz there is nothing you can take for it other than paracetamol.

  2. thats probably an old wives tail...ive never heard of it before...i hope you feel better soon though!! thats no fun!!! =(

  3. yes its true i got a cold with both of my pregnacies and everything is ok. just ask your dr what to take and hopefully you'll get better

  4. Yes, you are getting close.

  5. I think you just have a cold, I have never heard of this. Your immune system is the highest while your pregnant and a runny nose and sneezing is something a lot of women experience throughout their entire pregnancy. I wouldn't count on this being early labor but I'm not a doctor.
